Did you know that a frog has a life cycle ? All living things have life cycle for example plants the start little then they grow up into big tree. Life cycle means a of series of stages of a living beings.

At first the female frog lays hundreds of eggs.Next the male frog fertilize the egg.Some egg get damaged due to rainfall and wind some eggs don’t survive.The eggs have protective layer called the spawn The male doesn't fertilize all the  eggs so some don’t hatch.

In a few weeks the eggs hatch and tadpoles come out.The tapoles feast on there eggs.After few days the tapole grows exteral gills just like a fish.Then the tapole tail elongates.       To be continued…

Have you heard about climate  change.Climate change is when countries experience changes in there climate and weather.Climate change when earth's temperature changes.There can be drastic weather changes such as the amount of rainfall or the amount of wind and sun in the place.

There are 2 types of climate change one type climate is natural climate change. This is caused by volcanic eruptions ,changes in the sun energy and the earth's orbit.

Human beings cause climate.This started in 1700 hundreds when earthlings built more buildings, cutting down trees ,burnt down coal to make energy,burnt oil to make cars move and growed more rice .This called greenhouse gases.They trap the sun's heat. This makes glaciers and ice sheet melt and makes storms stronger.

Our earth is getting sick.To help your earth make a better a better we can use cars as much and use more public transport.

How you ever wondered how rubbish is  recycled? 

Your rubbish goes to Visy Recycling centre in Onehunga in Auckland.It is five times bigger than eDid you Aucklanders create 230,00 tons of waste in landfill.

At first rubbish trucks drop of cart loads of rubbish. VISY MRF gets about 200 trucks a day.

A load driver scoops up the recyclables up into a conveyor belt it takes the sorting building.

Very first recycling stage is  the Pre -Sort it is when Sorters pull out non recyclable items off the conveyor .Because it can damage the conveyor belt. 

The rubbish is sorted into different types  using Ingenious technology.To sort glass ,paper and cardboard, aluminium and steel and plastics they use trommels.

Star shape discs flik the paper to separate it..Steel is separated by a magnet.Aluminium is separated  by Eddy magent.Optical conveyor machine sorts different coloured glass. 

After the rubbish is stored paper is send to be remade.Glass is broken.Steel is make into boxes and taken a way to countries to remade.
